The CD is not compatible with my Mac system. How do I transfer the photos and videos from the camera

 The CD contains optional video and photo editing software only. You do not need these programs to transfer photo and video.

As soon as you connect the camera to your system via USB, a drive displayed as “NO NAME” will appear on your desktop. You can open this drive to view the content of the camera. All your videos and photos would be saved in the DCIM folder where you can drag them over to your computer.
